Five-Day Ordering – Monday to Friday
More flexibility. Same delivery day.
You’ll be able to place orders anytime between 7:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. For statutory holidays or other planned closures, we will communicate any changes to the ordering schedule, including revised order cutoff dates. Your current assigned order day becomes your order cutoff day, which is the final day to submit Stocked orders within that order cycle. Your regular store delivery schedule will not change unless otherwise communicated.
What this Means for you:
- Access to Products – With five-day ordering, you will have more flexibility and consistent access to products throughout the week, making high-demand periods and new product launches more flexible for you.
What you Need to Know:
- Your assigned order day is now your order cutoff day. This is the final day to submit Stocked product orders for that order cycle. All Stocked orders must be submitted by 12:30 p.m. on your order cutoff day.
- Weekly Stocked and Flow-Through order submission cutoffs:
- Stocked products: Submit orders by 12:30 p.m. on your assigned order cutoff day.
- Flow-Through products: Submit orders by Monday at 12:30 p.m. If Monday is a communicated statutory holiday, submit by the Friday before the holiday or as otherwise communicated. Delivery timing for Flow-Through products is still communicated at point of sale.
- Pricing is fixed when submitted – The price of products at the time of submission is the price you pay, regardless of any future price changes.
- Orders are final – Once an individual order is submitted, it can’t be modified or cancelled. Make sure you review SKUs, quantities and pricing carefully before submitting.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I place orders at any time during the five-day order window?
You can place orders between Monday and Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. For statutory holidays or other planned closures, we will communicate any changes to the ordering schedule, including revised order cutoff dates.
Will my assigned delivery day change with the introduction of a five-day order window?
No. Your assigned delivery day will remain the same.
Why is the additional Monday Flow-Through Order Window being removed?
Because orders can be placed any day of the week, a separate additional Flow-Through order window is no longer needed. Flow-Through orders must be submitted by Monday at 12:30 p.m., unless Monday is a statutory holiday. In that case, orders must be submitted by the previous Friday or as otherwise communicated.
What is my designated order cutoff day?
Your designated order cutoff day is the final day to submit Stocked product orders for that order cycle. All Stocked orders must be submitted by 12:30 p.m. on that day.
Are there different order submission cutoff times for Stocked and Flow-Through products?
Yes. Stocked products must be submitted by 12:30 p.m. on your designated order cutoff day. Flow-Through products must be submitted by Monday at 12:30 p.m., by the Friday before if Monday is a holiday, or as otherwise communicated.
Can I make changes to my order after I submit it?
No. Once an order is submitted, it is final. Please review orders carefully before submitting.
What happens when there is a price change for a product I already submitted an order for?
Pricing is based on when you submit your order, not when it is fulfilled. For example, if you submit an order for a product on Monday, and the price decreases on Tuesday, you will pay the price of the product as submitted on Monday, before the price decreased. Price changes are posted in advance on the OCS Learn Website.
Can I submit more than one order per day?
Yes, there is no limit to how many orders you can submit on a single day, or, during an order cycle. Once an order is submitted, it cannot be changed. Please review orders carefully before submitting.
If I miss my designated order cutoff day for a Stocked order cycle, can I submit the next day?
You may submit an order during any five-day order cycle while the order window is open. However, if you miss your designated order cutoff day for a Stocked order cycle, submitting the following day means the order falls into the new order cycle.
Are there changes to the holiday order process?
No. Order submission cutoff days and delivery days may still shift around statutory holidays, as they do currently.
How will I know about holiday changes?
You will continue to receive advance notice through regular communications and the B2B Portal calendar.
24/7 Inventory Visibility
24/7 Inventory Visibility. Better Ordering Decisions.
We’re introducing 24/7 inventory visibility to help you see current product availability throughout the order cycle, so you can make more informed ordering decisions before submitting an order.
What this Means for you:
- 24/7 inventory visibility – See current inventory availability before submitting an order. Availability may change during an active order window, so refresh the page often when reviewing inventory. Inventory may also change outside the order window as product is received into the Distribution Centre, products are sold on OCS.ca, or in rare circumstances adjusted or placed on hold in extenuating circumstances.
- Ordering new product launches – New product launches will follow the same first-come, first-served ordering model as all other orders during an active ordering window. You no longer need to wait for your designated order day to place an order for new products. However, any unfinalized orders must be submitted by your designated order cutoff day. These products will no longer be subject to daily allocation.
- Improved and flexible order planning – Provides the flexibility to place smaller, more frequent orders as inventory adjusts, without having to wait for a designated order day. Orders submitted are committed to you and deducted from available inventory. Your regular delivery day is not changing.
- Removal of allocation processes – Daily inventory allocation and lottery processes will be replaced by a first-come, first-served process. Products are only secured once an order is submitted. Items in an unsubmitted cart remain available to other retailers.
Frequently Asked Questions
What inventory changes are being made?
You will be able to see inventory availability in the B2B Portal 24/7. Availability can change as other retailers submit orders for wholesale, consumers order on OCS.ca, orders are sold, or inventory is added or adjusted at the Distribution Centre.
How will 24/7 inventory visibility help me plan my order(s)?
You can make more informed decisions, plan smaller and more frequent orders, respond faster when products are restocked, and better understand when inventory is sold.
Will this change how I order newly launched products?
Yes. New products will be available to order by all retailers at the same time on a first-come, first-served basis beginning the day they are released.
Is the lottery allocation system still in place?
No. The lottery system will be removed. If a product is available when you submit an order, it will be committed to you for purchase and reduced from the inventory pool.
Will inventory levels change while I am building my cart?
Yes. Inventory availability may change while you are building your cart. Products are only secured once you submit your order. They are not reserved in your cart.
